Withdrawal requests received by the ABNN office at least 7 days prior to the scheduled exam eligibility end date will result in a refund of the application fee minus a $100 administrative fee. Examination withdrawals received by the office fewer than 7 days prior to the exam eligibility end date will receive no refund.  Please note: If a candidate has already scheduled their examination date and location with the testing company, the candidate will not be eligible for a refund.  An applicant that does not complete the audit process will not receive a refund.

Reschedule

If you have already scheduled your date and time for the exam, you may reschedule within your same exam window AND at least 48 hours prior to your currently scheduled exam. In order to reschedule an exam, candidates must visit the PSI website or email PSI at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your name, PSI ID# (located in your Certification Center), original scheduled date, requested new date/time and preferred testing site at least 2 business days prior to your scheduled appointment. You may also call PSI at 833-333-4755 to change your exam date, however, the call volume has significantly increased since COVID and you may be placed on hold for a period of time. To be cognizant of your time, we highly recommend the online or email options mentioned above to reschedule. You will forfeit fees if you fail to contact PSI at least 2 business days prior to the scheduled date and if you fail to report for the examination. View the step-by-step scheduling/rescheduling process within the Candidate Handbook.

Postpone

Candidates may not extend or postpone their exam window unless there are extenuating circumstances. In order to have your request reviewed to postpone to a new exam window, please contact ABNN first at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. If you do not complete the exam before your exam window expires, you will be required to submit a new application and pay all associated fees. If you do not contact ABNN at least 7 days prior to your exam scheduled date, you will not be able to postpone.
